Fawn In the Reeds

A curious fawn looks directly into the camera through the reeds in a marshland outside of Medicine Lake. The setting sun gorgeously illuminates the fawn’s orange-brown fur in golden light. This fawn was fascinated by the clicks and snaps of my camera, providing ample time to land this perfect shot.

Lighthouses On the Lake

Two iconic lighthouses sit at the end of piers in Canal Park while the setting sun paints the sky with orange and purple. The lake reflects this light to complete the colorful framing of the lighthouses.

Portrait of a Green Heron

A green heron struts along the edge of a stream with its head crest on full display. Chestnut brown to dark irridescent turqouise feathers are easy to miss features of this bird unless given an oppurtunity like this to see a green heron up close.
